What is CoolSculpting?

What Areas Can Be Treated?

With CoolSculpting® you can pinpoint exact trouble spots where you’d like to reduce fat. The treatment is FDA-cleared in 9 different treatment areas of visible fat bulges in the submental (under the chin) and submandibular (under the jawline) areas, thigh, abdomen, and flank, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll), and upper arm. What Makes A Good Candidate For CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting® is fat loss not weight loss. The number of fat cells varies from person to person, but it doesn’t change much once you’re an adult. What To Expect During Treatment

Your provider will apply a clear gel pad to create a barrier between the cooling panel and your skin. You’ll feel a slight sucking sensation as the applicator adheres to your body. During the procedure you may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping at the treatment site. These sensations subside as the area becomes numb. During the treatment you’ll be able to watch Netflix, read, answer emails, or chat with a friend. After the applicator is detached, your provider will do a brief massage on the area(s) to break up the treated fat cells and enhance the fat reduction. That’s it! Most patients experience little to no downtime after treatment.

When Can Results Be Expected?

With the CoolSculpting® Elite treatment, the results are real. Patients may start to see results in as early as 3 weeks after treatment.
